Newport University CED students are eligible to apply for membership with the professional bodies they wish to join.  Professional associations help make connections to make a career. Please take note that the applicant’s recognition is at the discretion of the receiving institutions.

PROFESSIONAL ASSOCIATIONS IN THE AREAS OF BUSINESS, MANAGEMENT, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AND ENGINEERING: To wit:

• Royal Aeronautical Society of London
• The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), UK
• American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and
• Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), USA
• Chartered Financial Analyst Institute (CFA Institute), USA
• Australian Institute of Management (AIM), Victoria, Australia
• Australian Marketing Institute (AMI), Victoria, Australia
• Institute for the Management of Information Systems (IMIS), UK
• The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK

TOURISM, TRAVEL AND HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT students studying courses at NUCED are qualified to apply for student membership-

• The American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA)

COMMUNITY HEALTH AND HEALTH CARE MANAGEMENT: Graduates who hold NUCED’s qualifications in the area of Community Health or Health care Management with some years of relevant experience will qualify for Associate or Full membership-

• The Chartered Institute of Practicing Professionals (CIPP), USA
• The American Public Health Association (APHA), USA
• The Institute of Health care Management (IHM), UK
